Created in collaboration with our sister painting studio, Atelier Ravel (www.atelierravel.com), this project focuses on a small installation and a related publication. The show and book, both titled The Memory Room, document a multimedia project of an artist opening a box and recording the personal, even diaristic, contents inside. Along with designing this unique project, we also created the editorial structure of the book, developed and edited the various texts, and crafted new photography of the artworks based on a vintage camera aesthetic to give the imagery an atmosphere of a memory or a dream. We further developed an ad campaign for the project, featuring posters, including a large wall mural; invitations; a small brochure; and keepsake postcards and coasters that serve as their own “memorabilia” for those attending the exhibition.
