In this project, we reimagined a literary agency, taking its branding from an outdated mode into something fresh in order to appeal to the agency’s core demographic—new and emerging writers who have perhaps felt intimidated by the publishing industry. We played with the agent’s surname of “Star” to create the new name “StarLit” and used star motifs throughout the branding scheme. One of the unique aspects of this brand is the way the stars can be redeployed in different ways to give the impression of proliferation of thought. We also developed the company’s first online literary journal, StarBright, where new writers’ work can be featured and allowed to truly sparkle!
